Privacy — DP Career Coach

What we collect

The DP Career Coach iPhone app stores your calculator inputs (years of experience, market, production mix, kit ownership, etc.) only on your device, using iOS's built-in UserDefaults. None of those inputs are sent to any server.

When you use the chat feature, the messages you type are sent over HTTPS to our backend at dp-career-coach.vercel.app and forwarded to Anthropic's API (Anthropic privacy policy) to generate a response. We do not retain message content after the response streams back. We do log a per-device identifier (a UUID generated on first use) plus a daily message count to enforce a free-tier rate limit.

What we don't collect

No account. No login. No analytics SDK. No tracking. No ad networks. No device fingerprinting beyond the per-device UUID used for rate limiting.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

Changes

We'll update this page if anything material changes. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent change.
