Tigé hired Geared Like A Machine directly for both 2026 flagship walkthroughs, the Z3 and the Ultre ZX. I ran both productions end to end: the estimate, the crew I hired, the shoot days, the edit, and final delivery. I directed, shot, and edited both. The Z3 film took five Tellys, including Gold for Cinematography and Silver for Directing.
On-water days get decided by wind, glass, and the sun. I plan boat-to-boat, drone, and rider coverage around those windows, across Austin, Possum Kingdom Lake, and Abilene.
Filming on the water is where I started. I spent years as creative director for iWake, building the iWake.com content library, and in 2012 released Momentum, a forty-six-minute film I produced, directed, and edited for them. In 2017 I filmed and edited Alex Graydon’s part for X Games Real Wake, and it won the fan favorite X Games medal.

Do you produce boat commercials and walkthroughs?
Yes, end to end. For the 2026 Tigé Z3 and Ultre ZX walkthroughs, Geared Like A Machine handled the estimate, crew, shoot, post, and delivery, and I directed, shot, and edited both. The Z3 film won Gold for Cinematography at the 2026 Tellys.
Do you know the sport?
From the inside. I rode professionally before I picked up a camera, so I know where a rider will be before they get there.
Producer, director, or DP?
Any of the three. For Tigé I produced, directed, shot, and edited through my company. For agencies and production companies I come in as DP.
Where do you shoot on the water?
Texas lakes most often: Austin, Possum Kingdom Lake, and Abilene. I travel for the right water.
Do you bring the camera package?
Yes. Camera, lights, and grip come from Geared Like A Machine, my production company in Dallas, so I can arrive as crew and equipment at once.
