In November 2022, I had the distinct honor of leading production as the first freelance Director of Photography engaged by Starlink, SpaceX’s satellite internet service. My production company, Arches Media, served as the Texas-based producing arm of the project—handling all logistics, equipment, crew, scheduling, and on-the-ground coordination. While I produced and DP’d the shoot, The full production pipeline meant bringing together teams from New York and coordinating seamlessly with SpaceX personnel who flew in from California. This streamlined, multi-state collaboration was executed with precision, allowing us to deliver high-quality, cinematic motion assets quickly and efficiently. Through our experience and efficiency we eliminated the need for a large-scale support crew and provided Starlink with premium visuals at a fraction of the traditional cost.
